Comparing the Spider-Man Movie Franchises | @solomonsporchp1

A lot of people have complained about there being so many Spider-Man franchises over the last couple of decades. When Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters next month, (see what I did there?) it will be the 10th live action film to feature Spider-Man since 2002. Add to that the 3 different actors who have portrayed the webslinger in that time, and it can get pretty confusing. So before Peter Parker suits up again, we wanted to take a look at the three franchises, what sets them apart, and what each got right, and what they got wrong.

Why Avengers End Game Was Not A Perfect Film | @jasonbordeaux1 @solomonsporchp1

So much of the MCU fanatics have had a chance to see End Game at least once. While many are saying it is the perfect movie, I can respectfully disagree. Though I loved the film and it is in my top 5 MCU films, there are many areas of the film that could have been changed and adjusted or even taken out. Lets dive in to what will probably be controversial.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Review

First things first, rest in peace Stan Lee. I'm sure all the success Marvel has seen over the last decade in the film industry went beyond what even he could imagine. Who would have thought that a city, much less country and even the entire world would fall in love with the unlikely hero of Peter Parker better known to the world as Spider-Man? Spider mania is at an all time high and Marvel has given the fans something to sate their appetites with in the 2018 released film "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse."

New to Comics?

Several years ago, after loving the Marvel films that were being released, I decided to start reading the comics. I felt like this would be a great way to understand the characters more and would be able to understand the movies with a better context. Oddly enough I actually started by reading the new storyline at that time, Dark Knight Metal, which is from Detective Comics. DC had also rebooted their comic universe with DC Rebirth. That allowed for a brand new start. Marvel did a similar thing with their comics here recently, so no matter if you are a fan of Batman, Iron Man, Black Panther, or Superman, you can start from the beginning.

Christ N Comics- Uncle Ben’s Brilliance

I grew up with several uncles in my life. With my father being absent in my life, their presence and wisdom was something that I often looked forward to. Many of the life lessons they taught me either went over my head or were things that I would later find out weren’t “morally beneficial” for me. However, there was one uncle in my life, that wasn’t actually my blood uncle, that gave me one of the best words of advice I would use for the rest of my life…. Uncle Ben.
